Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Divide the property among those whose share have been prescribed in the Book of Allah, and what remains from the prescribed shares goes to the nearest male heirs.
Hadith In Arabic Text :
حدثنا أحمد بن صالح، ومخلد بن خالد، – وهذا حديث مخلد وهو الأشبع – قال حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن ابن طاوس عن أبيه عن ابن عباس قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ” اقسم المال بين أهل الفرائض على كتاب الله فما تركت الفرائض فلأولى ذكر ” .
