‘A’isha (the wife of Allah’s Apostle) said: When Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) fell ill. Gabriel used to recite these verses.” In the name of Allah. He may cure you from all kinds of illness and safeguard vou from the evil of a jealous one when he feels jealous and from the evil influence of eye.”
Hadith In Arabic Text :
حدثنا محمد بن أبي عمر المكي، حدثنا عبد العزيز الدراوردي، عن يزيد، – وهو ابن عبد الله بن أسامة بن الهاد – عن محمد بن إبراهيم، عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، عن عائشة، زوج النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنها قالت كان إذا اشتكى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رقاه جبريل قال باسم الله يبريك ومن كل داء يشفيك ومن شر حاسد إذا حسد وشر كل ذي عين .
