‘A’isha reported: The Prophet (may peace be upon him) used to pray at night while I lay interposed between him and the Qibla like a corpse on the bier.

حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، وعمرو الناقد، وزهير بن حرب، قالوا حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة، عن الزهري، عن عروة، عن عائشة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يصلي من الليل وأنا معترضة بينه وبين القبلة كاعتراض الجنازة .
