Narrated Isma`il: I saw (a healed scar of) blow over the hand of Ibn Abi `Aufa who said, “I received that blow in the battle of Hunain in the company of the Prophet.” I said, “Did you take part in the battle of Hunain?” He replied, “Yes (and in other battles) before it.”
Hadith In Arabic Text :
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير، حدثنا يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا إسماعيل، رأيت بيد ابن أبي أوفى ضربة، قال ضربتها مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم حنين. قلت شهدت حنينا قال قبل ذلك.
