Anas b. Malik reported: I saw one day on the finger of Allah’s Messenger (may peace be Upon him) a silver ring; so the people also got silver rings made and wore them Then Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) discarded his ring, and the people also discarded their rings.
Hadith In Arabic Text :
حدثني أبو عمران، محمد بن جعفر بن زياد أخبرنا إبراهيم، – يعني ابن سعد- عن ابن شهاب، عن أنس بن مالك، أنه أبصر في يد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلمخاتما من ورق يوما واحدا – قال – فصنع الناس الخواتم من ورق فلبسوه فطرحالنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خاتمه فطرح الناس خواتمهم .
